Bali Art & Nature (
Full day tour : 8 hours )
The
perfect introduction to Balinese art and culture stopping first
at Batubulan village where the colourful and exiting Barong dance
is performed every day. The dance tells of the eternal fight between
good and evil spirits and the story is taken from the Mahabrata
epic. Still in Batubulan you can see stone carving process or
an authentic Balinese house, leaving Batubulan we pass through
Celuk and Singapadu are centers for Balinese goldsmiths and silversmiths,
you can watch the talented artists make jewelry that is exported
worldwide. The next village we visit is Mas the home of many famous
wood carvers and Ubud home of talented Balinese painters. We will
also visit the Elephant Cave temple. Travelling along the road
to Kintamani, we stop at a fruit plantation growing all species
of fruit found on the island. Arriving at Kintamani, you will
enjoy spectacular views of Mount Batur with its ribbons of black
lava threading their way down to Lake Batur, here can you enjoy
buffet lunch. (optional) The return journey bring us to the holy
springs at Sebatu village and passes the beautiful rice terraces
at Tegallalang.
Northern Bali ( Full day : 9 hours )
Driving
along steep mountain roads with rice fields on either side we
make a stop at Pacung to enjoy the beautiful rice terraces before
visiting the fruit markets of Candi Kuning where you can buy fruits
and flowers along with the usual souvenirs. On reaching Bedugul
and Lake Bratan - famous for water sports we stop at Ulun Danu
Temple a temple dedicated to the goddess of water - Dewi Danu.
Continuing our journey we stop at Gitgit waterfalls taking a short
scenic walk to the see beautiful falls . On the drive to Lovina
, famous for its black sand beach, we drive through the city of
Singaraja, the old capital city of Bali. At Lovina you can enjoy
your optional lunch buffet. The return journey takes us through
small town of Banjar there you can enjoy the hot springs that
are popular both for locals and tourists before the beautiful
rice terraces of Pupuan and Belimbing village.
Amazing East Bali ( Full day tour : 8 hours
)
Our
first stop will be Kerta Gosa, the former Court of Justice in
Klungkung on the 18th. Century, the interesting Kamasan style
illustrations can be seen on the ceiling which tells the vision
of heaven and hell. We continue to Kusamba, the village of fishermen,
and they have home industry of salt spanning. Just after Kusamba,
we arrive at Goa Lawah temple where the walls are covered by thousand
of bats. Our next stop is at Bali Aga Village Tenganan where we
will see traditions that have never died over centuries in the,
here the villager weave the famous Geringsing Sarong than we believe
can ward off evil sprits.....After a long drive you will take
a rest a rest at Candi Dasa where you can have lunch (not included)
before continuing our journey to the Royal bathing pools of Tirtagangga.
Panorama of Tabanan ( Full day tour : 8
hours )
First
stop is the butterfly park - Taman Kupu Kupu Bali in the village
of Wanasari the where you will see hundreds of mostly Indonesian
highly colorful butterflies, then we visit Yes Panas hot springs
before driving on to Mount Batukaru to visit Batukaru temple.
Batukaru is the third of Bali's three major mountains at 2275
meters high.
We then take you pastel the most beautiful rice terrace at Tabanan
regency, Jatiluwih - the name means “truly marvelous”
You can enjoy the scenery while enjoying quiet meal (not included).
In the journey home we visit Tanah Lot temple, the temple which
is set atop an outcrop of rock jutting into the sea.
Tanah Lot Sunset ( Half day tour : 5 hours
)
We
drive to Pura Taman Ayun at Mengwi the main temple of the Mengwi
kingdom built in 1634 the Royal temple known for its beautiful
merus (multi tiered shrines) and surrounded by a wide elegant
moat. We will also see the monkeys at Alas Kedaton temple and
at the same time you can see the bats also. The final place we
stop at Tanah Lot Temple probably the best known and most photographed
temple, set atop an outcrop of rock jutting into the sea. The
temple therefore symbolized the meeting point natural and cosmos
element. At Tanah Lot weather permitting you can see beautiful
sunsets with the “silouhette” of the temple a view
featured on many Bali postcards.
Uluwatu and Jimbaran Bay ( Half day : 5
hours )
Drive
to Garuda Wisnu Kencana, the cultural Park with the tallest statue
scheduled to be finished in 2003. We continue visiting the famous
Uluwatu temple where you can take a walk along the cliff tops
and admire the beautiful ocean views far below. Before returning
we make a stop at Jimbaran Bay to enjoy a sunset, here you can
have dinner watching the sunset and beach activities at any of
grill café along the beach (Dinner optional) selecting
your own seafood and watching it being cooked.
