Villa Lumbung - a villa in Seminyak Kuta Bali - is located 5km
north-west of Legian/Kuta, perfectly situated to enjoy your holiday
in quietness and tranquility, but only an inexpensive taxi-ride
away from the shopping and entertainment places of this pulsing
tourist center. A quiet beach is about 800 metres away.
The idea to build the Villa Lumbung originated from the need to
find the right place for close friends, who make the long journey
from the west, and who wish to find the best accommodation with
an exotic flair.
The Hotel Villa Lumbung is a small exotic village surrounded by
masterly designed tropical gardens of approximately 20,000 square-meters.
The special shape of the grass-roof villas is derived from the typical
Balinese "Lumbung". The upper part of this center hut
of
each
family compound serves as a rice barn, while the lower floor - an
elevated sitting area ("Balé") - is used as a meeting
place.
Guests will find all the best comforts and services ensured by a
well trained house-hold staff.
This concept has been transformed into a unique design . While the
dome-shaped grass roof-top of the upper floors conveys a spacious
and tropical feeling, the ground floor's Balé is made into
a cozy retreat next to the garden.
